Research interests:
Geophysical Fluid Dynamics: Modeling of various surface water waves
and currents in oceanography.
Computational Solid Mechanics: Modeling elasticity problems
with material and/or geometrical nonlinearities.
Numerical Methods: Developing space and space-time discontinuous Galerkin
finite element methods for various problems arising in fluid and solid
mechanics. Also interested in numerical methods that preserve Hamiltonian
and/or Variational structure.
