Research interests:

Geophysical Fluid Dynamics: Modeling of various surface water waves and currents in oceanography.

Computational Solid Mechanics: Modeling elasticity problems with material and/or geometrical nonlinearities.

Numerical Methods: Developing space and space-time discontinuous Galerkin finite element methods for various problems arising in fluid and solid mechanics. Also interested in numerical methods that preserve Hamiltonian and/or Variational structure.
