Merry Marian on Mannixpoint
In the far background Valentia island from where in 1901 Marconi successfully transmitted the first transatlantic radio message. We are on the West coast of the Iveragh peninsula in Ireland. It is from here that we sailed to the Skelligs, to watch the thousands of gannets and puffins breading on these islands and admire the spectacular views. The sky was blue and so was the ocean.
