Unfortunately, we had to decide to cancel the workshop which was planned for September 5th. We would like to thank everyone who participated so far, and for the already submitted papers. We will do our best to reschedule the workshop.
The goal of the full day workshop is to bring companies and both experienced and young researchers together who are interested in privacy enhancing data management techniques, data confidentiality, and balancing smartness and privacy in an ambient intelligent world.
The aim of the Twente Data Management workshop series is to provide a forum to share original ideas as well as research results and practical development experiences among researchers and application developers. In this year's workshop we want to explore the various aspects of protecting privacy in ubiquitous computing environments. We are particularly interested in discussing user-oriented access control techniques, Hippocratic database design, and the (technical) implications of pervasive computing on privacy in general.
Paper must be at most 8 pages long and must adhere to the ACM format (for templates see http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates). Although novel submissions are highly preferred, we do not discourage or forbid interesting submissions which have a large amount of overlap with an already published paper. Accepted papers will be published in the official 'CTIT Workshop Proceedings Series'.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
The workshop will take place at the Drienerburght Conference Hotel on the campus of the University of Twente.
